This multi-talented family has over 200 videos in their catalog. I was blown away by their recent cover of Tunnel of Love by Dire Straits.

I'm 64 and saw Deep Purple in my teens. Never did I think I'd witness a band nailing their music so brilliantly, and when Stacey sings I find myself floating on air. To not love Missioned Souls is basically saying you lack a heart and soul.

When I first came across Missioned Souls on Facebook — before they even had a YouTube channel — what immediately caught my attention were their ska tunes and that incredible “Hysteria” (Muse) cover. I remember reaching out right away, and the first two things I asked were: “How old are the kids?” and “Who’s doing your sound recording?”
Even back then, before they built their little studio — when they were just setting up on the porch or in their living room — the sound levels and mixes were always so great. They were doing it all with one computer and their cell phones, yet their recordings sounded so good.
…….But what then impressed me more than anything was watching Sheena — the mom — standing back while gently guiding Stacy forward. She kept her under her wing, but you could see she was also pushing her out of the nest, helping her take the spotlight. That moment told me everything about who they are as a family.
When you realize how talented Sheena herself is, and still see her humility and focus on nurturing her children, it becomes clear that you’re watching something far deeper than just a family band chasing views or attention. You’re witnessing a family living their purpose — a mission.
Their mission statement says it all:
“We are a family commissioned to propagate the importance of family unity by showing love and respect to each family member and for one another. We put into action our God-given gifts to bring joy and fun into other people’s lives through music. Missioned Souls was born out of our earnest desire to give thanks for the simple musical talent we receive from above, thus giving glory to the Holy Trinity. Praise God and Ave Maria!”
That’s not just a statement — you can see it, hear it, and feel it in everything they do. With Missioned Souls, it’s all about family, unity, love, respect, joy, and gratitude for the blessings from above. Watching them grow has been a privilege — and proof that their name, Missioned Souls, truly reflects who they are.

One of their latest releases is a cover of "Tunnel Of Love" by Dire Straits, with just the four kids, playing a more "laid back" style of song, and the amount of warmth and feeling they gave it struck me. People don"t put that kind of effort and skill into their music unless they really love what they are doing, and you can see it in their faces and bodies when they play, as they are all literally swaying to the music near the end. That is what makes it such a joy to watch them.

Glad you discovered Missioned Souls. They sound great now, and will only get better. Some videos Mom and Dad join in too, Dad on bass, Mom on vocals. All the kids learned bass in addition to their other instruments. The kids names and ages are in the description of every video. Naces is the oldest, keyboards/bass age 16. Neisha shredding the guitar, now 15, Stacey on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, now age 13, and Isiah "Ice", on drums is 11. They just posted yesterday, a live cover of Bon Jovi's Bad Medicine. Also check out their cover of "Alone" the i-Ten song made famous by Heart. Looking forward to the day they start making originals.

New subscriber from Michigan. You have just started to react to the most amazing and talented cover band ever. They play multiple instruments and they are almost ready to release their own originals. For their ages no one can come close to them playing as many different genres as well as they do. So don't stop reacting to their over 250 covers.

The whammy flourish punctuating the end of the guitar solo (6:27) makes me laugh every time. Go Neisha!
