His death was totally preventable, what was Hulk thinking? So sad I still can't believe he's gone.

Terry Bollea may be gone but legends never die. Hulk Hogan was and will always be a legend. I'm 55 and still having difficulty processing this. He was my childhood hero, I idolized him. Having said that, this was an excellent breakdown and likely what happened. He will forever be in our hearts and minds. We love you Hulkster. R.I.P. big man.. 😞

 I’ve had a 2-level ACDF, with 3 C-spine surgeries total.

If Hogan truly had a 4-level fusion in one procedure, air travel the next day (and apparently not wearing the collar) is wild, even for him.

The fusion procedure was performed on Wednesday, May 14, and the video you are playing from 15:46 was published on TMZ Sports YT channel on May 1, 13 days before the procedure.

Had the same surgery I was told do nothing for 6 weeks, than went for tests to see where the fusion and screws along with titanium plating that holds it all together was at. Than when it showed it was at a certain point I was allowed to do very limited activity for another 6 weeks. Unfortunately Hulk went out being Hulk

Good coverage . I know a retired guy who had eye surgery of some kind. During the recovery period he used one of those belly/body vibrators for fat reduction which permanently damaged his eye sight. The damage isn’t fixable despite his wealth. Just a really poor error in judgment which likely contributed to a bad fall he had years later because of compromised vision. I remember when I was 14 and awoke from anestesia for a broken leg. My throat hurt so bad I wondered if the incubation air tube had been maliciously inserted. Never been a wrestling fan but his life & accomplishments & good character are fascinating

Thanks for breaking down this surgery that Hogan had. I had the same exact surgery just 2 weeks prior to Hogan. Unfortunately , they had to cut through my back and neck muscles to get to mine. I was in a recliner for 2 months before I was able to start getting up, other than bathroom breaks. Either way, its an extremely painful and risky surgery. Hopefully people heard your show and will respect what the Doctors tell you. Pain pills will make you feel like your good when your not good.

That interview clip was not after the surgery. It was May 1st. He hadn't done any media since the surgery.

I’ve had three of these surgeries done. First one was to remove a tumor and that one was through the back. The second and third were fusions through the front where I have been cut on each side of my throat, but I didn’t go out messing around hard-core for like a month
