The Izu Peninsula leg is what got me — everyone does the Fuji-Tokyo circuit but barely anyone thinks to extend it down the coast. Mixing trains and a rental car for that stretch is actually the move.

I am thinking of 2 nights Disney, 3 nights tokyo, 3 nights Atami, 3 nights fuji for my family of 5. Do you think this is too hectic? Or should I skip Atami and spend 6 nights in Fuji area at a more relaxed pace?
