  I met her at a book signing in the 90’s. She was so unbelievably beautiful in person she seemed other worldly. But the amazing thing is she was so personable, chatted with everyone in line, took pictures if they wanted pictures with her, and took the time to personalize what she signed on the books. She struck me as just a sweet, grounded Midwestern girl who just happened to be breathtakingly beautiful. She got to the top because she was probably very professional and a pleasure to work with.

  Crazy how more confident she is 4 years after her oprah interview. Travel and world experience can really be a positive thing. Such a beautiful woman.
