I am just another of the ones that have been with you all for the whole eleven years. Congratulations! Victoria is GORGEOUS. This is THE news I have waited for from you two kids! I'm so very happy! Thank you for allowing this grumpy old vet to come along. I wish I had something poetic to say... but I'm just too pleasantly surprised. Luv y'all.

 Hi guys!
Congratulations on your self-awareness and kicking the booze. It took a death threat from my doctor to wake me up and smell the coffee and stop sucking down that which was destroying my liver. I went the A.A route and their help was world changing for me. The fact that you had this epiphany at your age and on your own is a major accomplishment which shows your wisdom. If you’re going to grow a baby, you have taken a HUGE step in improving your child’s future.
Victoria looks really beautiful and a great step up, if you bring yourself to living on a boat you didn’t build yourselves. It’s really great watching your dreams come true.
Good luck, fair winds and following seas
You deserve it.

Really respect your courage to share your journey to sobriety. And, I am so happy for all of the positive life changes you've experience. Congratulations on becoming parents and your new boat. Can't wait to see her. Nothing as great as good design and craftwork. 💌

Dear Ruth and Garreth, as a follower from the beginning, a sailor, a dry person for the last 39 years and a grandfather of seven, you make me very happy with all this news. Everything you're sharing sounds so right! What made remaining dry for so long, easy was the joy of newfound balance, of never being hung over and gaining resilience. That helped me coping with heart failing for the last seventeen years and enjoy my family. I'll keep following you and yours ❤

Never underestimate the benefit that sharing such a personal story will have in helping others, and in turn, the love that will come back to help support you. #respect
