Something you didn’t touch on that was important was that Jerry Trainor, the actor who played Spencer, would spend his days off at the studio to keep an eye on the kids to make sure they were safe. He was a protective brother in the show and acted like a protective brother in real life. I’m horrified to think of what could’ve happened if Jerry never kept his eye on Miranda, Jeanette, and Nathan.

I read Jeannette's book and she found a lot of support and peace from Miranda, and looked to their friendship when times were tough. Funnily enough, it was Miranda that was telling Jeannette that it was okay to cuss and it was okay to watch scandalous shows and movies despite her mom's strict orders, its completely the opposite of their tv characters lmaoo

Miranda Cosgrove is a story of what good parenting can do to a child it grounds them and helps them handle the world despite the craziness

Degrading your own daughter then asking her to buy you a new fridge is crazy work

Jeanette's intelligence is what saved her, in my opinion.

Knowing that Jennette's mother reportedly starved her own daughter and then realizing Sam was chronically hungry all the time honestly makes the show unwatchable for me now.

Jennette’s mom is straight up evil. What a horrifying last set of words to tell your daughter before you die. That does untold damage to a person for their entire life.

Miranda Cosgrove sounds like she's still very close to Jeannette. And respected her decision to not do the reboot...I hope Jeannette is ok today and knows how much we all care about what she went through.

what really broke my heart about Jennette's book, was whenever she talked about her career she referred to her dreams as her MOM'S dreams. "Her dream had finally come true". Referring to her MOM'S dream coming true. It was never Jennette's dream. Her mom took control of her life
