  I lived in that kind of van for two years. &nbsp;No one ever bothered me...people, police, security etc.

  Along with the fact that your van doesn’t scream “van life,” I think a part of your success stealth camping also comes from your strategy of settling into your spot later in the evening and getting on your way earlier in the morning. In a lot of places, even if people recognize that someone might be sleeping in a van, if it’s gone in the morning no one is going to intervene.

  This is a great urban stealth setup because it blends in perfectly with all of the hundreds of commercial white Promasters that are on the roads in any given city.

  Personally, I like the smaller size. I don&apos;t particularly care about the stealth factor, but a van that&apos;s easier to maneuver and better on gas is a good selling point for me. If that had a pop-up roof, it would be perfect for me.

  Here’s a cherry on top—get high-visibility construction vests and put them on the driver and passenger seats so it really looks like a work truck lol. I’ve met a couple who have done that to their van in New York City
