  Tbh a lot of the hate that it's getting is just silly to me because after about a couple of weeks to about a month, the fandoms are just gonna go back to the status quo and fight over about something else.

  I didn’t see it, doesn’t sound like my cup of tea, so I won’t say anything about it. I’ll just say I can’t imagine what the creators are thinking right now. You release your own cartoon, you’re pretty proud of it even though it didn’t get much attention, then a year later out of nowhere you’re being lambasted by every culture war faction in existence. <br>The internet is completely insane.

  It feels like queer media can&apos;t just be mid. Or bad but fun. It either has to be a masterpiece or it gets absolutely trash talked into the ground.<br><br>Unless a queer movie came out in the 80s/90s. Even if it&apos;s bad, it is automatically a cult classic

  Pretty sure clicking on this vid is the <b>first</b> time Ive learned anything about this movie that wasnt against my will. <br><br>It showed up everywhere, out of nowhere and I dont even see the so called fandom unity. Its just randos online jumping a random movie. Even as someone who can enjoy some old fashioned hater behavior, this is just...annoying...

The villains are white rectangles, the interjected songs are just what&apos;s happening on screen, so so many puns...<br>Like I&apos;m not an expert but it walks like a satire, talks like a satire, I honestly thought it was just going all in on the funny

  The poor quality of the writing and animation is a consequence of the one-year deadline that was a condition of the film grant that funded this project. The grant they received is only given to complete newbies from marginalised backgrounds for the sole purpose of helping them enter their local, annual film festival. This was literally the creator’s very first feature-length film and their first animated film, people dunking on it are dunking on the equivalent of a student film.
