The idea that any mountain „actively tries to kill those who dare climb it” is pure and utter bullshit.<br>Climbing those high peaks means accepting death as an option.

K2 is the Ultimate if you really have to pick. If you can climb K2 you can climb Everest. If you can climb Everest doesn’t at all mean you can climb K2..

I don't get the hate for this video. The views are truly stunning, and the data seems reliable. (Some topics - notably, the China-Pakistan "highway" - were new to me.) True, the narration is sometimes repetitive, harping on the unforgiving nature - the adrenaline-laced insanity, if you ask me - of high-altitude climbing, and perhaps AI was too much involved in that, but otherwise I enjoyed this little work thoroughly.
