  It warms my heart to see you using Howards products. My husband was a professional woodworker, and restored antiques. Restor-a- finish has a solvent that melts old lacquer finishes and blends it out without removing the old patina completely.

  Thank you so much for not painting that dresser!!! It’s just perfection!! You just can’t replicate that aged oak patina!! You did just enough!! The other cabinet thing, was also perfect!! The old wood was beautiful!! Im in my witchy/cottage core era…🤣🤣 I saw Roscoe!!! 🥰🥰🥰

  Hey, quick tip, if you use your phillips drill tip to &quot;drill&quot; (more like wallow) a shallow hole into the wood before you drive the screw in, it will countersink the head of the screw without having to change the tip on your drill. &nbsp;:)
