  This fixed mine the LG are trash, switched to the ngk and I can hand start it now.  Thank you for posting this I was going crazy

  Check the gap on the old spark plug to see if it might be out of gap

  I'm glad that the plug replacement solved the problem. What brand of propane tank are you using? I'm looking for one that is mobile like yours is.

  Nice work.  Just got my NGK for this Unit that I picked up several weeks ago on Prime day.  Ran it for a few hours on Full Synthetic, and hooked up to the Manual X-fer Switch.  Ran everything I have hooked up just fine, including 3 Ton AC and 4500W water Heater.  My only issue so far is that Duromax claims this is a Floating Neutral generator, but testing reveals Full Continuity from Neutral to Ground AND Neutral to Frame.  Still haven't got a satisfactory answer on why this is the case, other than the Website claiming that it is just a common "misconception", so I'm not happy there.  Otherwise, seems like a pretty solid Unit.  Good luck and a good day to you.   Thanks

  An Autolite 64 spark plug will work too (propane use) for replacement of the Torch F6RTC factory spark plug.

  I have the 13000HX and straight from DuroMax customer service.  The new models will likely come with the NGK plug because it works better with propane starts.  Hand starting this generator is really hard because the LG plug is just not "hot" enough.  Also just for information.  The IDLE CONTROL is only for when you are using gasoline.  Said it does not work well with propane.  Which is one of the problems I had when first starting it did not want to idle with the switch on, it would die... So I have the NGK BPR6ES plug and I did the 4008 version.  the 4008 has a "SOLID" cap.  the top part which connects to the spark plug wire.  There are other plugs that that cap threads on and off.  The LG plug is a solid cap. Hope this helps anyone with these generators..

  NGK are a top line plug.  I try to use them in everything I have.  Glad you got it running right. 👍

  Was the original plug a no start on gasoline as well?<br>Or was it not attempted??
