Thank you very much for sharing this! I'm a Contralto and have had many problems because in my country people have always tried to force me to sing as Dramatic Mezzo. I have always felt that Mezzo was definitely not right for me. I never wanted to be a Contralto, I just am. This passaggio was particularly difficult for me and I had to find a way to do it, because nobody was able to explain it to me. Specially because people think that Contraltos don't exist here in Brazil. Thank you for the lesson!

Thank you for sharing..i am also a contralto but find my most challenging passagio is the transition from middle voice to head voice. I will try this more gentle "embryonic" approach. Thank you for sharing. Jess s voice is just glorious isnt it.
