  I was watching an elderly woman blowing a gasket at the grocery cashier once. <br>She saw me and gave me the old &quot;What the HELL are you looking at?!?&quot; And I just kept a flat face and tone and asked &quot;Do you have a medication that you&apos;ve forgotten to take today?&quot;.<br>Guy behind me guffawed and she shut her yap while the poor cashier finished.

  I was 17, working at a pizza place as the &quot;phone girl&quot;. Taking orders over the phone, pickups and in person walk-ins. <br>A woman comes in to pick up her order. I asked her name... Not there. I asked her order confirmation number... It&apos;s not close to our order number system. I looked through all delivery orders... It&apos;s not uncommon to accidentally mark delivery when you wanted a pickup order. I checked everything, trying to help her, we never got her order. Even called other stores close, maybe she ordered it at a different location. No...no order. <br>She&apos;s angry. Yelling that she has the tracker and it said it was ready to be picked up. <br>&quot;Ma&apos;am... I&apos;m so sorry but we don&apos;t even have a tracker in any of our establishments. Did you order from a different pizza place? I know dominoes has the order tracker&quot;. <br><br>The anger in her eyes that she could be wrong...was intense. She started cursing at me that I&apos;m an idiot not her. I remained calm and asked her if she would like me to put an order in for her, it would take about 15 minutes. She declined and insisted I was wrong. Yelling at me the whole time and demanded my corporate number. <br><br>We have the number outside of the window when you walk in so it&apos;s backwards for me. I said ma&apos;am, it&apos;s outside the front door if you would like to call them. I can&apos;t read it backwards from here. She took that as an insult I guess? Started calling me every name in the book. At this point... I was over it. I was shaking, telling myself to not yell back at this woman. I stopped her from yelling and said &quot;I&apos;ll get my manager now for you, but he will tell you exactly what I have told you. Wasting even more of your time. Your order could have been ready by now if you listened to me&quot;. <br>She yelled at me as I walked away. My manager saw how upset I was and told me to go take a break and he would deal with it. <br><br>The end of the story, she yelled at him as well and he banned her from ordering from us and made sure she knew SHE WAS WRONG. <br><br>I get a bad day, I really do. But that entitlement to yell at someone trying to help you just baffles me. Karen&apos;s of this world... Take your meds man. Spare us please 😂😂😂

  She wasn&apos;t fired for not washing her hands. She was fired for her uncontrolled alcoholism and flashing her under-garments to a client. The lady cop took her to the bathroom after arrest and discovered the awful fact that this menace doesn&apos;t wash her hands after going potty.

  There was a lady going off at someone when I flew out of Denver, and I obviously was staring. She looked at me and asked &quot;wtf are you looking at?&quot; And i responded, &quot;Obviously someone who wasn&apos;t raised right, and has the manners of a trash can.&quot; &nbsp;You could visibly see the anger in her, and then the light left her eyes, and she went to sit down. It was a good day.

  As a 57year old woman I can honestly say we don&apos;t claim these Karen&apos;s. As I&apos;ve got older I&apos;ve actually mellowed, I just can&apos;t be arsed about trivial crap.

  My wife works at Starbucks and is an artist! They used to be allowed to draw on cups and the new CEO told them they no longer can and can only put basically generic messages on it. She would also always wear bright colors because she’s just a fun bubbly person. She would wear special outfits for different holidays and the new CEO now has them all wearing all black…

  The older I get the less I care about confrontation or arguments. And more about kindness and love. I let people in my lane while driving, I hold doors open for people. I compliment at least 3 people a day. &nbsp;I laugh off the BS. Life is too short to waste it being upset. My husband always says “if you’re not going to remember it in 5 years, don’t give it 5 minutes of your time.” And “can I change it? No? Then why worry about it?”
