One of the best car chases in a movie, and one of the most underrated crime films.

This is a masterclass on tension, blocking, editing, acting, writting. So stylish and designed. This is how you make an action film.

Sean Bean wasn't carsick. He was puking from adrenaline and shaken nerves. That, and his 2 foolish plans, peg him as an amateur playing professional and that's why Sam punks him out of the crew. It also tells him that Deirdra is an amateur because she didn't vet Sean Bean.

This film featured three James Bond Villain actors:
Sean Bean (Spence) played Alec Trevelyan in "Goldeneye"
Michael Lonsdale (Jean-Pierre) played Hugo Drax in "Moonraker"
Jonathon Pryce (Seamus) played Elliot Carver in "Tomorrow Never Dies"

The car sequences were filmed in tricked out cars with ex-race drivers laying down watching video screens behind the actors whom had dummy wheels. De Nero described this as the most scared he's ever been in his life.

Natascha McElhone's mother is full Irish, that's why her accent is so good, she heard it every day growing up in England.
She's also Irish in the Brad Pitt/Harrison Ford movie THE DEVIL'S OWN ...worth watching.
