  2001-9 are mostly rust buckets.<br><br>Best Subaru to own is anything with a H6 3.6R in particular

  I have the Oil and Filter changed on both our 19 Outback and 23 Tacoma every 5K miles with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Oil.<br>Every oil change I add a bottle of Techron Fuel System Cleaner add to a full tank of gas.<br>The Techron is a Must for Direct Injection engines.<br>I also have the front and rear differential, transfer case (on the Tacoma) and the transmission fluid every 30K miles.<br>I’m an absolute maintenance freak. I guess that’s why we are able to keep our vehicles for 15-20 years or 250K - 300K miles.

  I have a Subaru Forrester 2007 model, Never had any problems with it. I keep up the servises and it still runs like a charm, and it has done just over one hundred and eighty thousand kilometers. The ones Not to buy are the 2010, 2011, and 2016. As far as I know they are the only ones not reccomended by many Subaru experts..

  I work on GMs and working on a Subaru is not built with ignorance like, all the others GM, FORD, RAM, BMW! NOPE, I can see the ground! Very easy to repair and you can get to the parts without taking 3/4 of the engine parts off to get to the part you have to replace. I am thinking of buying a 2012 Forester with 80,000 original miles. The parts are still cheaper by far than VW!

  I am a mechanic in Ohio have a 2011 Outback in my shop no turbo 2.5 seems to be using oil but runs fine no lights on at times a puff of smoke on startup I am not sure yet if that smoke is oil or coolant I am thinking oil any advice from you Subaru guys would be great I do not know them well

  My mom has a 2018 crosstrex , burns a quart of oil every 1000 miles , FUN - &nbsp;NOT<br>then the navigation camera system went out 3000 dollars to fix it , WTF <br>the dealership said - &nbsp;Subaru &nbsp;- &nbsp;dos not make this part any more , i cant even have cruse control , and if theirs a Moose were - DEAD<br>so i cant even sell it for my Mom , because its soooo unsafe . <br>Im a Honda guy , im hoping they&apos;ll let us trade it in .
