I just cant get passed the fact that they have an ancient school of doctors whose reputation is built on the fact that they cant be broken and made into betrayers. But then a harkonen comes along and apparently is the first to think "hey maybe we should threaten the suk doctors significant other" and it works perfectly fine. Like was every other house in the Dun-iverse just told hey these guys are unbreakable and they all just accepted that and said oh sweet and moved on

in Part 2, at the beggining Jessica used battle language and she use 🤘for an enemy. So bull symbol with Hakkonens is part of Atreides comunication. Also Finish word härkä means bull.

I thought Christopher Walken was an odd choice to play the Emperor, but the other day I connected that he was in the Weapon of Choice music video, which was written by Fatboy Slim about Dune.

I like that you make videos that are aimed for views and then you do videos like this that are full of passion. Because this video is evergreen.

You missed the point that the bio/chemical weapon clean-up crew (that was sent in to clean up after the tooth poison gas) were wearing bio-hazard suits that looked very similar to the Sardakaur battle suits from the David Lynch film.

42:42 oh yeah, that docking sequence in Interstellar and the ending of Inception from when Dom wakes up on the plane, are two of my favorite movie parts of all time. Just fricking BOSS sequences with Zimmer's score.

9.29 its Paul's prescience, he can see futures where Jamis is his friend and uses what he teaches him when they first go into the desert, its why he is so sad when he kills Jamis. He sees all the ways he dies and knows how to avoid it. This shows that even before he takes the water of life, he is powerful already

30:40 referencing the part where he says “I recognize your foot steps old man”, Paul gives a look to the sandworm he rides in part two that can only be described as him recognizing the sandworm which was a great grandfather “old man” worm, the biggest ever seen
