This stance canceling is exactly what I needed. I always wondered why my counter was so ineffective. Now I need to train

FYI Tatenashi has guaranteed follow ups depending on the incoming attack. Use it on Azucena's WR3 for example and you can electric out of it guaranteed.

great video. quick technical thing on the +10 after the punch parry for those who are confused why you can get up to 13f punishes. the frame data display shows +10 because it assumes you are going into stance, and in this particular instance you can't actually even do a move out of your crouch dash for a few frames, which is why you may notice reina has to slide forward a bit before you can even use a move. the stance cancel completely circumvents all of this and allows you act immediately after the cancel.
this is actually the only instance i'm aware of where stance canceling lets you avoid a stance transition that has a few frames where you can't act, effectively allowing you to get even better frame advantage than you normally would by canceling. would be interested to know if anyone is aware of any other move like this in tekken.
