Hey Jasmine! Former Christian here. Thank you for keeping it real. It&apos;s nice to see someone being intellectually honest, it&apos;s getting rare these days 😅

I receive this. My god is a woman who is fearless and feminine and nurturing- I lost my mom at 10 years old. My god is who mothers me

The rumor stems from the history of the word &quot;cretin&quot; (an old, highly offensive term for someone with severe intellectual or developmental disabilities).Linguists trace the word cretin back to a Swiss-French/Alpine dialect (crestin or crétin), which ultimately derives from the Vulgar Latin word christiānus (Christian). However, the historical connection was originally pious, not insulting:In parts of the French Alps, locals historically referred to people with congenital cognitive disabilities or severe goiter-related syndromes as crétins.

I live your points so much. I love it. You should try to explain this back in the day when I was younger, but I always got hit with scripture with just fold and walk away. I’m not gonna keep wasting my energy on someone that’s gonna scream to the top of their lungs and then tell me I’m going to hell because of the questions I have.

❤ I just love you for this. I have spent most of my adult life feeling this way. I just never had the words to properly express myself. Thank you.

Hey GIRL.. I say the same thing, “I graduated from church “ for similar reasons…my sense of safety, felt Christians put God in a box, and God I believe is not simple but complex, and I know God is within us and we are apart of God.

I saw a &quot;shorts&quot; that said resting, not moving, laying around, being lazy IS A SIN.<br>I rolled my eyes so hard 🙄 and wrote in the comments: soon breathing w/b a sin, blinking, yawning, eating etc. .. They are taking this too far now 😂😂😂😂
