  Hi, Atlanta Approach Controller here. Was surprised to see this was on video! I was responsible for working you into the ATL arrival flow, clearing you into the Bravo, and assigning Runway 28. Runway 28 was the best option because it let us fit your Cessna 150 safely into the existing jet traffic without disrupting the airport’s flow. A slower VFR aircraft at Hartsfield has to be placed where spacing, wake turbulence, and runway traffic all make sense. That’s why we first had you remain outside the Bravo, gave you a delay, then issued a squawk code, radar identified you, vectored you, cleared you into the Bravo, and sequenced you behind the Spirit Airbus. The wake turbulence warning and “keep the speed up” instruction were part of making that sequence work safely. Runway 26R would have been more convenient for your taxi to Signature, but 28 was the runway that fit the operation. Once you landed there, Tower and Ground had to move you carefully across the field with specific hold-short instructions, runway crossings, and frequency changes. From our side, you handled it really well! With professional radio calls, clean readbacks, good awareness, etc. That’s exactly what we need when fitting a small Cessna into the world’s busiest airport :)

  Fun fact, that gray building you pass after landing, is a firehouse dedicated to just Runway 28. Since they rarely get calls, it’s called the Retirement station
