  No. Not again. The last time I watched a great persona video , I spent 250 hours replaying Persona 5 Royal and 4 Golden. The urge. It's taking over again.

  Persona 5 is a LONG game, but it's because the game has a lot of content, not because it has a lot of things to waste your time

  I have no idea how I got here, since the last Persona game I played was Persona 3 Portable for the PSP (which was way too long ago for my liking). But I am so glad I watched.  Amazing first video dude. You have definitively succeeded in making me want to play Persona 5 Royal.

  God, I feel bad for the poor sops on the gameplay developement for Persona 6, because... Where do you even go from here? How would you improve upon this model? Persona 5 Royal, in my opinion, perfected the formula for this specific game genre and even after hours upon hours of random thoughts on how I would improve P5R gameplay structure and every single time, I end up with nothing.

  Mementos might be a grind, but Mishima's target hunting allows you to handle it in small chunks for decent payoffs, as well as Rank 10 Links forcing you in to complete them. So unless you REALLY put off Mementos until the endgame, you shouldn't feel like you're being forced to dungeon delve for more than a few floors at a time throughout your playthrough.

  With respect to instantly finishing fights in Mementos, that was a thing in previous persona games. It only occurs if you heavily out-level the enemy encounter.

  Persona 5 Royal is very rewarding. Is impressive that a game this long continues to feel rewarding on subsequent playthroughs. Is just always something different to engage with, and developing a mastery feels so good. I went from struggling on normal in my first p5 playthrough, to absolutely destroying the game on hard difficulty in p5R.
