  Fun fact: The Digimon card tcg has cards from its early sets that refer to the Trash as Recycle Bin

  I much prefer that the legend cards have the epithet on them in the big box. it would get VERY confusing to say &quot;ok i play jinx, which triggers my jinx, so I jinx my jinx when jinx happens&quot;. its far more important for gameplay if the UNIQUE name for the Legend is the one players can read more easily.

  I really enjoy hearing your commentary on games, Koh, and while I am a huge nerd for this game (I decided to get back into TCGs for the first time in over 20 years and this just so happened to release around that moment so it&apos;s been my exclusive game since launch) I do have to say my biggest headache with this game has been the lack of any &quot;in-between&quot; rules. We have the &quot;Quick Start&quot; sort of kitchen table rulebook that, yeah... We&apos;re gonna explain to you basically how the game works but we&apos;re not going to get extremely into the weeds because you&apos;re just starting out and we&apos;re just kinda fooling around anyway... kinda rules. But then you have the 300+ page sectioned, numbered, (AND WITHOUT AN INDEX) rulebook that goes into excruciating levels of top-level tournament play enforcement description. And there&apos;s nothing really in between the two except players who have figured it out to translate the full rules deposition to you in a more digestible format.

  At pax west, we did 8 player flights of 2 player games.<br>We were supposed to watch the tutorial that was looping while we were in line.<br>All 8 of us were confused and the &quot;judge&quot; wasnt helpful.

  In defense of the Pokémon starter decks, they usually don’t include cards that would require poison/burn counters anyway tbh. And, they are extremely easy to get your hands on nowadays
