  Can't wait to see in a decade a highlight game where regifter conjures a clique pea that insta dies when played but then later because it shuffled itself into the deck ends up taking over the game

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4-eW4PyXzg&amp;t=537">8:57</a> what I think happened here is that the reincarnation turned into another reincarnation before turning into a cosmic nut. When a reincarnation turns into another reincarnation, a bug happens where future transformations look like a certain plant visually, but the actual properties are from another plant entirely. So while it looked like a cosmic nut, the reincarnation actually turned into a 1 cost plant which is why molekale turned it into a 2 cost plant.

The game literally teaches you that zombies attack first in the tutorial and it happens everytime in normal combat.

  Since it’s a game mechanics video, I wanna share my thoughts.<br><br>Fry’s right with the first clip. The best play is to bounce lane 3 for the Moon Bean, and also hope that you get Mog so you can transform the Imp-throwing Garg before it spawns.<br><br>The puzzle party probably just does the same thing a lot of missions and other challenges do where you have 25, 30, 40, or some other amount of HP and that becomes the max, instead of starting at 20 and bringing you down to 1.<br><br>I’ve been meaning to figure out the through line for how created plants spawn, but the hunt is probably just how they decided hunt should work, since Corn Dog’s the only plant with hunt.<br><br>Fry’s right about Plucky and Captain Cucumber: it depends on which one’s on the right and which one’s on the left, as a lot of game mechanics do.<br><br>The Reincarnation Molekale is an interesting one. So basically, when a Reincarnation turns into a Reincarnation, then next turn it turns into something else, it’ll visually have the sprite and stats of one plant, but it’ll actually be a different plant. Note that the person didn’t have a card they could’ve gotten from Cosmic Nut, meaning either it was already played and got removed, or more likely, it didn’t conjure because it’s not actually Cosmic Nut. It’s not specifically into Reincarnation either; I’ve seen a game where someone’s plant was actually a Pecanolith from this bug. The surprise for me, though, is that that was before the 2024 patch. I think more people started to notice this bug after that patch (me included), so I figured it was new, but that clip disproves that.<br><br>Speaking of surprises, I was actually surprised by Ketchup Mechanic in the last clip. I knew it wouldn’t grow, and I know heals like Lil’ Buddy work when they’re about to die from Regifter or Eclipse, but I didn’t realize Ketchup still healed. I thought the two actions (gaining stats and healing) were connected, and so no stats meant no heal. Maybe it’s a difference between Total Eclipse vs Regifter, or maybe the mechanic just changed, or maybe I just misremembered. Either way, I do know that heals happen first before a plant can die for some reason, and a card can’t gain stats when it’s considered dead/at 0 HP, except Mustache Waxer specifically.
