I like how the guys don’t treat Amir differently because he’s gay. That’s how it was when I was in college. One gay boy in the group and no one discriminated against him.

I think Kojo felt like she played him for a sucker. Not saying I agree, but that's what he's probably thinking. I'm so glad u r reading Deborah for who she is because she did alot. Shaquille should have been moved of her for real. Her character irritated me. She came of bratty, entitled and very impulsive. Still loved the show. Good start. The Ice scene was random AF. I get it that it's relevant to what's happening now, but it came out of nowhere lol

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It beautifully blended the past and the present without overshadowing what was currently going on present day. It did break my heart to see that not much has changed from then versus now in terms of society, but it was just so beautifully and aesthetically pleasing to watch. I learned that I love for my messiness and drama to be scripted rather than real life as a means to escape.
