Growing a business creates a different set of problems. Eventually, finding customers isn't necessarily the challenge—figuring out how to serve more of them without sacrificing quality becomes the challenge.

Tradespeople and business owners—what became your biggest challenge once your business started getting busier?

Great point! Very real. It’s a hard thing to let control go of an aspect of your business. You put your blood, sweat, and tears in it to get it to this point and it is kinda scary to bring someone on that most of the time don’t care if you succeed or fail. Also keep your standards of service and professionalism. I’m still in the building client base phase but planning for the future. Like you said that’s the goal to get to a point it can run with less of you and you have more free time. Your video helped. Thanks!

Hey Dustin, thanks for putting this content out there. I’m new to your channel, but it sounds like your business is around the same stage as where I am at, I’ve been doing this full-time for a little over 2 1/2 years now and struggle with getting everything done myself, but also finding someone who can do work the way I would want it done and represent the business accordingly. I’m curious, what CRM software are you using and how do you manage Client communications? I currently use Google Voice but I don’t love that option so I’ve been researching whether to try another VOIP or go with a second cell phone. I like the idea of a VOIP as if I hire an admin or virtual assistant, I can easily give them access to that number. Just always curious how others are doing it. Keep up the good work.
