Thank you so much for all the free content! Thanks to your guidance we have a thriving vegetable and fruit garden. We started 6 years ago with a rock hard soil and now the soil is incredible soft and fertile. We also learned from you how to start seedlings (timing!) and so save a lot of money. You are such an inspiration and your passion for gardening and helping to succeed shines through. Big, big, big, big thank you.

Your videos on compost around 10 years ago was the reason why I started gardening. I remember clearly the feeling I felt that day, for me it was magic and it still is actually.

This is so interesting. I used some of my compost which wasn't completely decomposed on my beds and the results in the growth of my vegetables has been amazing. I remembered that you once said that compost doesn't have to be fully decomposed to use so I decided to try it.

I have two bins I got for FREE on gum tree. I haven't bought a bag of compost in 5 years now and it all stemmed from when I first stumbled upon one of your videos. Composting is my favourite part of gardening, I love it. Thanks for the inspiration Sir, keep smiling, and I'll send a pic of my corn to you when I harvest the last batch.

Whether I am using hardware cloth or pallets, I find the cardboard lining so helpful. It holds moisture in in our parched summers, keeps bits from falling out and moderates the temperature which seems to improve worm numbers

Hi Charles, crew and Minty.
No Dig changed everything.
I'm not strong enough to turn the compost, but I sure enjoy building it and deliver 1/2 buckets of compost to the garden when needed. Great exercise and fun.
HAPPY GARDENING FOLKS. Thank you Charles. 🐈⬛♥

I have a theory that woody features of compost can act as an inoculant where conditions dry off/kill surface microbes. It's never going to be biochar but I feel like slightly decomposed wood is going to also have those pockets that preserve the biome, helping it recover from stressful periods.

I have a small yard. I have two tumbler compost bins. Underneath those I have two 20gallon grow bags and I put a plastic bag over them. Plus, I have a pile in the back. I have really nice compost and at different times. People think they don’t have space but I am proof that there is enough space. Your compost looks beautiful and your plants show how good it is. Love to Minty too. 😊

I confess to being a very passive composter. I see my compost bays more as trash piles. That I get compost from them after doing virtually nothing to them, is a big bonus. If I am bored on a cool fall/winter day, I might get some exercise by turning one into another but I dont see it as necessary in my situation.
