  I&apos;ve building and enjoying aquascapes for years now and followed your channel since the old studio. In all that time I&apos;ve never seen you try a set up with an eel; I&apos;d love to see that!<br> I&apos;ve had a yellow spiny eel for years now and its never got bigger that 8in and I think you could design and amazing set up for one, or a few.

  Try blowing off your zoa with a pipette. Other than that they’re just strange stubborn buggers in my experience. If all parameters are good give it a couple more weeks if still closed move it to the sand, it will stop being grumpy 😅

  I never use gluteraldehyde with livestock. I sometimes use it on moss in quarantine. So if I have a wad of moss so full of hair algae that I can&apos;t separate all of the algae, I put it in a container of water with some drops of the stuff and leave it on a window sill. The algae will die and I can rinse the moss and use that again.
