  So Jackie learned at her mother’s feet how to create a lie that would endure? Remember “Camelot” was something she made up. And she worn her blood stained pink dress during the oath of office with LBJ….very effective for the camera AND when 3 year John turned and saluted his Father’s coffin. Looked natural and yet Jackie told him to do that. VERY EFFECTIVE.

  After Janet divorced Black Jack, she was not in poverty. Her extremely rich father took care of Janet and her daughters. &nbsp;Her father-in-law John Vernou Bouvier II paid for Jackie and Lee&apos;s boarding school tuition. He also paid for boarding their horses. &nbsp;<br>When Hugh Auchincloss married Janet, he already had an heir, a son named Hugh D. (Yusha) Auchincloss III, a daughter Nina Gore Auchincloss and Thomas Gore Auchincloss.

  I will bet my last dollar Janet helped intoxicate Black Jack so he could miss the wedding. No way Janet was going to allow him to be at that wedding. It’s sad &nbsp;that Jackie had nobody to turn to receive any sympathy for her cheating husband or miscarriages. What a mess

  Jackie is the one who called Ann Lowe a colored dressmaker not her mother. Both had snob tendencies. I really hope it is true that Ms. Lowe walked through the front door.

  I don’t blame Lee for severing ties with her mom. She was a terrible mother. What baffles me is that Jackie didn’t do the same thing, even though their mom treated her the worst. Despite all of Black Jack Bouviers faults, he was a loving and devoted father to his daughters. At least they had one parent that showed them the unconditional love they desperately needed.

  Narcissist mothers do that to their children. &nbsp;I &nbsp;don&apos;t think my sibling &amp; I will EVER be able to make a go of healthy relationship. &nbsp;Too much distrust. &nbsp;Sigh

  Between the highly dysfunctional Kennedy family and Jackie’s mother, both power -hungry and obsessed with class and pedigree, those unfortunate kids had no chance. <br>Neither Rose Kennedy or Jeanette were beautiful women; the quest for wealth and the illusion of prestige made them terrible people. Their offsprings were their victims.

  Janet also insisted Caroline&apos;s caretaker told her right away that her father died. &nbsp;She cried all night. &nbsp;Why not tell the poor girl after thanksgiving?
