I feel like that reading the comics could help greatly as there is a lot of inspiration and great ideas

I just want good DC Movies. No big universes, no big promises, just good movies and projects with compelling characters and writings that can stand on their own. For both fans and newcomers

Thats all I want :/

I'm personally sick of everything needing to be shared universe/multiverse nonsense. Can't we just have good standalone movies like in the olden days.

What Superman fans you are talking about? The ones that never cared to read the comics, or what the TV Shows or even watch Reeves movies, because they would be in shock if they see Lester Superman II, one thing that I hate more about the superhero Fandom is when some fans began to idealise superheroes and put them in a pedestal, when they cause more collateral damage in the comics than in all the movies that they are in.

Politics has affected how we consume entertainment. Most people want to know if something is so called "woke" before spending money and time. It's ridiculous because most people don't even know the origin of the term woke and aren't necessarily MORE informed than when the MCU started with Iron Man. Not to mention, literacy rates are atrocious.

It’s crazy to me how bad they are at making live action movies. DC characters are so much better than Marvel, and yet they can’t seem to make a good live action movie to save their life.

This is just my personal opinion as a DC fan that watched the series, movies animated or live action and genuinely enjoyed Superman and Supergirl. To say "sucks" is ABIT much but that's your personal opinion which I respect but DC in the comics is a shared Universe and because it is why I got into comics in the first place my favourite and first comic was the Supersons and that is a product of a shared universe. As a DC fan I've been let down as well as most of y'all but kicking this new universe that seems pretty decent so far is just harsh, especially considering that this is the 2nd movie in this universe. Yeah they fumbled with the Supergirl movie but it was a decent film and at the end of the day Milly Alcock gave us a new and interesting version of Supergirl to add to all her other equally amazing variants. And we've got Lanterns and Clayface coming up which both look interesting. Just keep the faith y'all and have patience, I'm not telling you what to do I'm just suggesting it.❤

Saying its terrible is a little too much. There are worse DCEU and DC standalone movies than this. It was just fine or Mid.
