  I don’t like how y’all make the wife feel shame when Blake is being complicit in the downfall of his own health. He chooses to listen to his mom. And as for the 2 mil life insurance, realistically you could have had her think of her kids and how she could use that money for their education.

  So Blake takes no accountability in his own health decline and continues to say he is keeping her secret about the bacon and donuts and continues to make her feel guilty about it but nowhere did I see she tied him down and shoved the food down his throat. Why is no one going after his mother who was actively trying to kill her son? Why is he not being held accountable for his own actions? Can he not cook for himself,think for himself? Why go to the dr but ignore their advice? He did this to himself. She may feel guilty some but she sure didn’t force him.

  Ok the wife left out doughnuts and made that bacon dish with extra salt but he knew he shouldn't be eating either and did it anyway. She didn't force him or demamd he skip meds n eat crap he absolutely was told he needed those meds n to change his diet. It's on him and I don't think she should feel guilty at all.  His mother was regularly feeding him much worse n doing it constantly. His wife made 1 bacon dish n bought doughnuts, she did not force them down his throat. Even the doughnuts she just left them out n didn't offer him then. His choices and his mother telling him not to take the "pills" are why he was hospitalized n damaged his heart. The little the wife did would actually have little impact overall.

  He was a grown man that choose too give his mother 401 k money for the mother life insurance. He let his mother take advantage of his life this was supposed too be taking care of his family which means his kids. This should be good so his kids need money for there kids

  Usually if you're married your spouse has to be the beneficiary on your 401k unless the other spouse signs off

  I think OP is way too hard on herself because she didn't force feed him the bacon- he was fully on control of his own body.

  In my opinion it’s not op’s fault he ate bad foods she left out I mean it’s called self control. And it’s not her responsibility to make him not eat bad foods or force him to take his meds
