  I was “not like other girls” because I saw so many stereotypically feminine traits being labelled as stupid, superficial, or childish. I didn’t want people to hate me or think I was dumb

  one of my main problems is how much of it is also rooted in anti-blackness.<br>&quot;I don&apos;t twerk&quot;<br>&quot;I&apos;ll never have big lips&quot;<br>like...... many black women just naturally have bigger lips. it&apos;s not something they chose? and it&apos;s something that until recently was viewed as conventionally unattractive. <br>and twerking only came into the mainstream recently although it&apos;s BEEN a think within black communities. <br>I&apos;m just saying there&apos;s a lot of misogynoir in these too
