Amazing AZ-305 cram - the core architecture thinking still holds up really well!

For anyone studying in 2026, just translate a few old terms while watching:
- Azure AD is now Microsoft Entra ID,
- Azure Security Center is now Microsoft Defender for Cloud,
- Azure Sentinel is now Microsoft Sentinel.

Also, Azure Blueprints is no longer the direction to learn first, because Microsoft now points people toward newer governance tooling and Blueprints are scheduled for deprecation in July 2026.

So this video is still excellent for concepts, but exam candidates should map the older naming to current Azure terminology before test day.

Description says its 3 years old but it's Still relevant. This cram video still helped me land this test in 2025. I am now AZ 104 and AZ 305 certified. John's videos helped so much. As a visual learner the diagram board helped me see the connections and to understand how the services connected. Thanks John for all the content and insight.

I've just passed az-305! I can't stress this enough: there's nothing out there which compares with John's masterclasses and study crams. And unlike memorizing exam dumps, watching John's videos makes you actually learn a lot. You're the absolute Azure Champion, John!

Hi John, just wanted to drop a quick line to give a big thank you for creating these study cram videos. Together with the Microsoft Learn material it helped me pass the AZ-900, AZ-104 and AZ-305 exams. I can't even imagine the amount of effort it must have taken you to make all these vids so you have my fullest respect for this.
I 'm looking forward in discovering the rest of your channel and helping me that way in getting to know the Azure platform better. Keep up the excellent work!

Simply wow. This is a blueprint for how training should be done - relevant examples that help you relate and understand the importance of a concept, the ability to zoom in and out, connect concepts to the bigger picture, and go deeper when needed. The only thing is for the WhiteBoard to fix the performance issues, clearly, they haven't had anybody use it to such a high degree.

I took the Microsoft ESI training over the week. Thinking I was prepared I decided to watch this video last night. What was covered here was more extensive than the class I took. I took the exam today and PASSED. Thank you John Savill for creating this video. I believed the material you covered was one of the major factors that helped me pass the AZ-305!
