Man, I should just dig into my own tool boxes for restoration projects. I should live so long.

Matt - Montgomery Ward (MW) was not a manufacturer as stated at 0:49. MW contracted with other companies were the manufacturers of the MW store brand items sold through the MW mail order catalog and its retail stores.

Enjoyed the video. Nice purchases. Question? Around the 16:36 mark what appears to be a Stanley No. 80 Cabinet Scraper Plane is sitting between the magnifying glass the brace. Was that part of your estate sale haul too?

My grandparents had a farm in Smethport, Pa. After my father passed in 2022 I went through all the old tools he had from that farm. Just finished up cleaning many crescent wrenches, pipe wrenches, wood handle screwdrivers, pliers, lanterns, bear trap, Disson saws, drill and awl just like yours etc etc. everything I worked on said made in USA. Nice knowing all those items came from my grandfather and some, I’m sure, came from my great grandfather.

I even have that socket tool😂
