the funniest thing about dennis raider getting caught was because he mailed the police asking if he, hypothetically, sent them a floppy disk, would they be able to trace it? the police lied and replied no, and dennis sent in a floppy disk and they traced it to his name.

Mark Goudeau killed my daycare teacher. The whole daycare was really tight knit and family run, and my siblings all went there so we were pretty close to everyone who worked there. My brother blames himself for her death because we offered her a ride that night and she said no, and my brother thought it was because he was in the front seat. She was an absolute sweetheart and did not deserve to die the way she did. She really made me feel special ❤️🕊️

I'm from Kansas! Bonus point about BTK, his daughter wrote 3 books, and goes around the state every few years doing talks about the signs she missed, and the signs to look out for, and how to support loved ones before they have violent outbursts due to desperation the way she and her family believes her father did. He did what he did directly to become a well known serial killer, and those around him think its because he was desperate for him/his name to be remembered. Really sad to see how these crimes affect not only the family of victims, but also the family of the killer.

Edit: grammar and spelling (I type too fast)

Albert Fish is another serial killer born in 1870 in Washington D.C. He is also one of the most infamous serial killers in the US as well as one of the oldest. He only went for children which he admitted to capturing and assaulting/molesting around 400 children and murdering several of them, he was finally caught after boasting too much with his final murder of Grace by sending disturbing and graphically detailed letters to her family. He was sentenced to death by electric chair and his final words were: "I don't even know why I'm here." It took only two jolts to knock him out of existence.

As a Wisconsinite, it’s a breath of fresh air to see a video about American serial killers that weren’t all my neighbors.

Richard Ramirez didn’t die of cancer, he died of end stage liver failure. I took him to the hospital during my time as an officer at San Quentin state prison… he was bright yellow with jaundice when he was taken out. It was also one of the hottest days on record in Marin county California that day, I believe it’s because hell opened up to come get him personally

Thank you for giving Dahmer to Wisconsin (where the majority of his murders took place) and not Northeast Ohio (he grew up here and committed his first murder here). We don't want to claim him!
