Ron Franklin's last game for ESPN. He was to have called the next night's Fiesta Bowl on ESPN Radio but was suspended for an incident during a production meeting for this game in which he swore at Jeannine Edwards after directing a sexist term at her. ESPN only allowed him to work this game as it was too late to suspend him for the Peach Bowl and they wouldn't have been able to get a substitute to Atlanta in time. He was fired the following Tuesday after 24 years with the company. The identity of the person who reported Franklin to ESPN management was never revealed.

That’s the one problem with college football , we need more non conference big program matchups.

I was at O'Charley's in Birmingham, Alabama with my Cousins, then went to Pookie's Apartment, after that went to Roneeta's House in Fairfield, later went back home to Apartment.

Thanks for posting. A really good bowl matchup and very competitive, hard fought.

If Carolina didn't turn the ball over 5 times in this game, they could have won this game. They moved the ball so good and so well but couldn't stop fumbling the damn ball or throwing interceptions.
