  Yoko Shimomura is a f*king legend. To this day I still don't get how she was able to come up with so many banging tunes in one project, especially considering the technical limitations she had to work with at the time while composing.

  My dad told me he and my mom met when they were playing Street Fighter 2 at a country club’s arcade. When I showed him this video, his eyes shimmered like he was back in the 90’s.<br><br>Thank you for this collage!

  Street Fighter 2 was the first fighting game that had implemented tempo change in its music to indicated a match is almost over. Brilliant audio design to add tension and suspense to a a fight.

  The Balrog music was so invigorating the first time you heard it when playing the arcade. It really amped up the stress of realizing you&apos;re fighting the bosses now.
