Hi guys, Yup a video on my heavy, diesel workhorse. Don't judge to hard right away. I have the discussion about environmental issues every day. The Toyota is super durable and that is a way of looking at sustainability too. What can I do? Sell it? The car will continue to go on. Scrap it? Would maybe be best but... that would destroy something that is pefectly alright. Think about your old long lasting Gore-Tex jacket with the very strong but not PFC free DWR. Same problem. That sad... things are changing. We bought a full electric Skoda Enyag and we love it. And the Toyo.... More news on that in a later video. Cheers, Gijs

Ha, I stumbled across your video while looking at other stuff. Like you, I also enjoy the outdoors, though not to your level, and I also own and love my 1996 Landcruiser Prado. We take it out on trips across the Pyrenees or the Alps when we can. Roof tent on top, all our camping gear in the back. It is good to share the joy, and I do not worry about the naysayers. Driving and maintaining a vehicle this old is the most sustainable thing to do in a world where many people seem to chop and change for a new car every 3 years or so. Keep on trucking.

Hey Gijs,
😊
Geweldig toch? 😊

What size BF Goodrich tyres did you use, when you had the original suspension? And what about now with the lift? I am looking at putting it on my lc90 also. Awesome build btw! 😃

Using the inverter to power the fridge is most probably not the most power efficient. The compressor in the fridge is running DC current. If you use the inverter, you will have power losses while converting from 12 V DC to 220 V AC and then again losses when converting back from AC to DC at the fridge. The same when running it on the power bank. You should consider using the 12 V DC plug in both cases instead
