  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcZdJSAipws&amp;t=140">2:20</a> fun fact about the Ingenuity, it originally was planned to only have 5 flights on mars. by the end of its mission it completed 72 flights. I&apos;d say it was very successful.

  Little fun fact about the &quot;dead&quot; Mars robot. It was originally intended to make only five flights, but Ingenuity completed 72 flights in nearly three years, li&apos;l dude is STILL collecting data, even though it can&apos;t move anymore, so that it can one day be collected. R.I.P.

  Real story from a friend’s sister: she had gotten a bright white purse for her birthday (it was expensive, don’t remember what brand it was), she was super excited about it. Almost a week later, after getting home late and saying goodbye to the babysitter, she finds her 4 year old nephew drawing all over it. She was initially super frustrated since the babysitter was supposed to be watching him, and this was a nice purse, but she ended up keeping it cause it had her nephew’s drawings on it, and I think that’s really cute. She did find a different babysitter though, lol.

  Considering the ingenuity helicopter was only expected to last a few hours on mars, we got more than our money&apos;s worth out of it.

  So as someone with a hyperfixation on planes, birdstrikes are one of the worst things that could happen during takeoff, aside from an engine fire obviously, not deadly, but enough to warrant having to land. Most engines can handle small birds but when a birdstrike happens, and the bird involved is on the bigger side like seagulls, it literally rips apart the engine from the inside. So it&apos;s completely understandable to ground the plane, just like any other plane, following a birdstrike, because it&apos;s very likely to have damaged it enough to where it&apos;s not safe to fly

  Ingenuity was a massive success. She made 72 flights when she was only supposed to make 5, became Perseverence&apos;s scout after her initial success, and now serves as a weather station time capsule for any future astronauts on Mars to go collect. She went above and beyond her initial mission of proving that powered flight was possible on Mars

  That dumpster was probably lifted up there by either a hurricane or a tornado. If you look closely in the picture, you can see that the bush there is still bent from the force of the wind. Based on the type of building style this is, I’m willing to bet this is in Florida after Hurricane Milton. Don’t underestimate the power of wind, rain, storm surge, mudslides, tornadoes, and potentially lighting from hurricanes. That may be the last thing you ever do, so when a hurricane is coming, and they tell you to get out. You get out.
