I thoroughly enjoyed walking through yokocho alleys when it rained or snowed. It gave the whole experience more coziness and accentuated it; especially when stopping for a large bowl of hot ramen and a tall, cold beer along with the scent of the rain mixing with the local scents within the yokocho alleys.

I moved to a place where it rarely rains. Now, I watch videos just to hear the sound. I wish I could smell the air during a rain storm but am happy to just listen and watch. Soon, I'll move to a place that rains. Soon, I will stand in the rain and smile.
