  I have been trafficked for over 10 years I called both places and told them I had a chance to get away and don't want to go back. Neither had a safe place for me to go so it's a huge problem here in Sacramento. I see a lot of comments about not wanting better and I can only speak for myself, I would do anything to be able to get away from this life. I have no family, no real friends who care if I am ok or not and reaching out to the resources available not one of them were able to help remove me from the situation. There has to be another option out there because what is available is non profits receiving massive grants in the millions and they can't help get me off the streets. There is something going on here that needs to be reevaluated before giving them more money. Someone who cares needs to open up a real place for women who are in dire need because by the time there is room for me at a shelter I won't make it, and that alone is not ok

  Young women really  need to get educated on how to not get into this being trafficked situation. The guy is lying to you. If he asks you to sell your body to make him money, that's not love.

  Kudos to everyone involved in this documentary and those fighting human trafficking. It is a form of slavery and should be treated as such.
