  I remember going to charm school as a young teen. We were taught so many things about manners, how to sit, or make an exit, etc. It would be nice if charm schools or classes made a comeback. Thank you for all of these great tips❣️🥰💕💕💕

  Yes yes yes, what a lovely podcast. As a European, I see our style being made into an 'aesthetic' - but really it's a mindset, that you are in a public space, you respect the ones around you, you add to the overall look and feel of your city. I think it comes from the fact that we walk everywhere, use public transport, and so on. So I really support this call to leave super casual, mismatched, leisure clothes for workouts, hikes, countryside and so on.

  I’d like to add to the point made in <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaPOcF_Ko7k&amp;t=1285">21:25</a><br><br>Recently I had been really observing how our American culture affects our spiritual lives. The way you dress not only says something about the moment you are in but the thoughts you have about yourself and what is going on. Now we shouldn’t worry about what we wear to an extent (Matthew 6) but even as Christian’s we are ambassadors of the kingdom. Anyways, my point is, how we dress shows our thoughts to some extent. We have gotten too “comfortable” or to use the try term, lazy. And it’s so normal here in the states that we don’t question it as much as we should be. Realizing things like this made me realize a lot about how something so simple in the culture affects your mentality, which affects your spiritual walk. Not just clothes but even our ways of eating. And this is just the physical stuff, physical habits. Now imagine mentalities that limit us and we don’t realize all because it’s part of culture.

  Airline is that way because of TSA. Nobody who doesn’t have some paid precheck privileges wants to dress in a way that becomes a hassle to unbuckle, untie, etc., and then to put everything back on. If anything, it’s a better etiquette so the line runs more smoothly.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaPOcF_Ko7k&amp;t=1461">24:21</a> - exactly this. &nbsp;If you like wearing your makeup a certain way just do it!! &nbsp;It goes along the veins of what they’ve been saying - you don’t want to pretend because imagine doing that all of your marriage! &nbsp;Which I think most wouldn’t be able to keep it up, and then one of the loneliest things in marriage is not to be accepted for who you really are. &nbsp;Sure there’ll be adjustments to make, but the baseline should be we accept each other and because we love each other so much, we’ll adjust in the necessary areas that work for us. &nbsp;I spent too much of my previous marriage upset and hurt that my husband hated when I wore makeup and would make condescending comments to others we looked up to about it too. &nbsp;Thats not something that should be in a relationship with as much open access to your precious and vulnerable self in a marriage.

  I loved this episode!! What a wonderful person to bring on and so many helpful tips! <br><br>Also, great job with the episode title!! It intrigued me and I’m almost glad I didn’t fully know it had so much to do about etiquette, but once I started listening, I was completely hooked!
