I think no one got the "idli ya vada pav" reference. It is basically bollywood ya South movies. idli represents south movies and vada pav represents bollywood. Aamir and Raj are shown giving each other credit for the better cinema. Aamir says it is Idli (south movies) while Raj says it is Vada Pav (Bollywood) which is a beautiful gesture towards each other and respective cinema.

When karan johar tells Aasman 'Do not mess with the movie mafia' it's a reference to the koffee with karan episode with kangana ranaut where she called him the movie mafia

There's a scene where Bobby Deol is getting Padma Bhushan and his son says "I don't care if he's getting a Padma Bhushan or Vibhushan"
Maybe it was a clever reference or joke made towards Suhana Khan when she couldn't answer a question regarding SRK's awards in KBC

Loved who ever were the casting team. Raghav was a breeze of fresh air and all his shots during Emran Hashim's cameo were lit

I think Aashmaan’s character is also inspired by the late Sushant Singh Rajput. He was an outsider who worked in films under Aditya Chopra’s production, signed a three-film contract but left after completing two. In 2019, he also did a gangster movie, which makes sense in connection with the last episode. Lastly, his manager was as loyal as Aashmaan’s manager is portrayed.

Whoever is saying that Aryan got everything through SRK, let me tell them that only an insider can show and explain such a story.
Just like Farah makes Om Shanti Om (2007) &
Zoya makes Luck By Chance (2009),
They all used their first hand experience with stars, producers & news media to direct their movie.

11:50 even before this scene there was a hint. when jaraj was thrown out by guards, he yells "bastard!" and immediately, aasman appears and asks "sir did you call me?" 🤣

I think rajat bedi's character is homage to every 90's villain who wait for a time then attack on all his enemies 😂😂

There’s another reference you missed regarding the character of Jairaj Saxena. When he calls Karan Johar using his spoofing device, the call appears to be coming from Karishma Talvar. But in reality, it’s Jairaj on the line. When Karan picks up, he immediately asks, “Tumne Karishma ke sath kya kiya? Mai abhi police ko phone karta hoon,” as if Jairaj is some criminal or molester. This moment is a direct reference to Jairaj’s on-screen persona, since most of his roles involve either molesting women or objectifying them—for example, his infamous line: “sabki Izaat karenge toh lootenge kiski”.

I don't think nobody noticed the fact when Ranveer Singh was talking over call, "Aaj ki Raat" from Shah Rukh Khan's Don was playing in the background referring to Ranveer signed in & as Don.
