If the Han Empire hadn't driven the Xiongnu west, do you think the Roman Empire would have survived? Let us know your thoughts on this geopolitical butterfly effect in the COMMENTS below!

It's not that the Huns destroyed the Roman empire. The Roman empire got destroyed by the same dynamic that destroyed Chinese dynasties over the centuries. The Huns just helped to prevent it's reconstruction by driving the Germanic invasions, thus damaging it's cultural base.
The Hunnic and later Arab invasions managed to change the culture of the regions invaded. Western Rome became Romano-Germanic, East Rome reverted to it's Greek roots, Africa and Syria became Arabized.
The 3 kingdoms or the North and south dynasties had common culture or at least enough of it to unify once there was a strong enough leader. The 3 kingdoms of Rome (Frankia/HRE, Byzantium and the Caliphate) diverged too much, no leader could force them together again. During the era of Tang the legacy of Rome was constant warfare (Arab Jihads, constant piracy and other incidents of nasty religious , cultural and feudal warfare)

Liu bang is quite a short sighted person, he killed those that help him defeat Xiang yu. Han Xin, Peng Yue. The real military strategist was actually Han Xin but died because Liu bang view him as a threat

Liu bang is no military commander lol. He never study anything related to military. Even in his youth, his father had to bribe officials to get him into village chief position

I think it was the fall of the Han empire that actually hurt Rome more. After the Han fell, the Parthians and Kushans fell and the crisis of the 3rd century happened in Rome. The Huns appeared in the west 130 years later.

Liu Bang was an extremely capable military commander. The reason he was surrounded by the Xiongnu was that he ignored dissuasion, personally charged into battle to pursue and kill fleeing enemies, and thus fell into an encirclement. In fact, all of this could have been avoided😂
