  A bit of clarification, gearing is not being ditched - there is still things you have to gear for, and not all stats necessarily carry over. And this only applies to ENDGAME content. Not your overall experience. They&apos;re not offering a level boost, or level skip with this new system. <br><br>Basically how it works is that if you&apos;re max level, and someone needs to job swap, it&apos;ll apply the highest item level you have in your Armory to another max level character that you have. The swap doesn&apos;t count materia, BiS, and other items that are similar to it. It&apos;s just a very broad ilvl boost.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vToX2bzPT2s&amp;t=855">14:15</a> - The separate between Enemy and Ally targets for one button actually works better on Controller because you can &apos;soft target&apos; where it doesn&apos;t actually change your target, but it kind of points at someone else for that one next ability you use. I can see how on keyboard and mouse that doesn&apos;t quite work. It&apos;s like a Mouse Over Target for Controller.

  Had a back injury awhile back and took to playing FFXIV on console for the first time. Evolved mode sounds like a dream for controller players. Fitting the whole or at least majority of a rotation on one cross hotbar sounds excellent.

  It is indeed wild they never done anything more like green fire in WoW not only it was a fun questchain and fight (if you didnt overgear it) it just looks awesome

  The energy is palpable! Eveyone I know is talking about what Evercold will bring, for better or worse. In that regard, Anaheim fanfest was a smashing success.

  As someone who got green fire for my Warlock back in MoP and it boggles my mind how something like that hasn&apos;t been more of a thing in WoW, let alone other games

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vToX2bzPT2s&amp;t=1840">30:40</a> Part of this, imo, is because back in the day when PS3 support ended. I cant remember if they were nervous about it or not, and I know a few people were sad, but majority of players brought out the party poppers. The effects of it were felt pretty immediately and any negative were absolutely drowned out quickly. I think they remember and know how it felt to get the weights off back then, that&apos;s why they&apos;re excited about it now. I think they knew people wouldn&apos;t be mad about it.

  Kind of cool how MMO’s borrow and adapt ideas from each other to move forward with the best features. I see similarities in these proposed changes in other games.

  Would really love to see Mike try a proper DPS job rotation before Evercold drops so he can get a better idea of what the current static rotations actually feel like

  The tanking change feels like they&apos;re doing to tanks what they did with healers throughShB with shields vs HOTs. As an AST main those were the best days because I was a Swiss army knife
