Coming from a former prescription pain pills addict 5 years clean, this lady is exactly right! Getting a doctor to prescribe the opioid pain pills was easy, finding a professional to help you get off was more difficult!

3 years clean now! Still remember the feeling like it was yesterday, but everyday you stay clean, you win! Its a battle for the rest of your life, but you gotta keep winning!

Thank you Julie. At the age of 51, my son Jason took me to a treatment center, where I stayed for 3 months. He saved my life in doing so. I was home only 2 weeks and on 11/4/04, I got the call that no parent should get. My life today is a tribute to the love that Jason & I had for one another. God Bless You !!

I wish I had a mom that loves me like you love your daughter. I’m sorry you can’t hold her in your arms anymore. This moved me to tears, the empathy is unreal ❤

Borderline Personality Disorder now known as Emotional Intensity Order is so misunderstood and inappropriately treated and often leads to self-medication. Thank you for telling your story.

thank you very much for this. I too have BPD. And struggled with addiction. I am now almost 4years clean by the grace of God. Thank you for addressing this issue. I feel it is something that is so overlooked. My prayer to you on this journey.
