  What bugged me about Corden from the beginning is that he absolutely cannot stand not being the funniest or coolest person in the room. Watch him compared to Letterman or even Conan. It’s why he constantly interrupts guests, tries to hijack segments, and makes sure that you know that this is his show first and foremost.
