  There&apos;s always a level of pushback to &apos;hello fellow kids&apos; energy at the time, but then I look back at something like Pony Tales and I find it&apos;s 80&apos;s/early 90&apos;s -ness endearing. It&apos;s the opposite of timelessness but in turn it has a strong identity that decades later can be fun to step into.<br>When I realised that I&apos;ve started enjoying when I see something like characters floss in my media, because I know in 20 years it&apos;ll make me giggle nostalgically.<br><br>That said I do think outdated knowledge of the internet landscape does put more at stake when it comes to modelling behaviour in kids shows.

  Pipp has definitely grown on me with time... but I can still see why some people don&apos;t like her. Like you said, she&apos;s in a similar boat to Rarity in the first few episodes for FiM: not a bad character, but definitely underdeveloped in comparison to the others. Hopefully she&apos;ll get more and more fleshed out with time.

  I love your videos, they always provide such an interesting perspective. easily my favorite mlp youtube channel!<br>I may not connect to the social media aspect of pipp, but I actually think that a part of that makes her endearing.<br>I used to have a friend back in school who at first seemed like one of the &quot;Popular girls.&quot; She didn&apos;t quite understand me too well, and she had more mainstream interests that I couldn&apos;t get either, but she was still such an amazing and caring person. When I think of Pipp, I am reminded of her.
