I believe we cannot help but to tell and consume these stories because they are embedded deep within us and they are embedded in our souls because its the answer to the greatest question we have: What is the meaning of life? These stories are basically a form of natural revelation. That’s why they are ubiquitous throughout time and culture. That’s why we see ourselves when we see the heroes on screen. That’s why we are obsessed with telling these stories.
