  🤝 This video shows no hate toward Morocco or Moroccans. This is just a conversation i think we need to have about, history, identity, power, and some uncomfortable truths that affect all of Africa, North and Sub-Saharan alike. This one question just keeps coming back to me:<br><br>What truly makes someone African?

  first of all, being part of a continent does not mean that we all share the same identity. In Asia, you have chinese, indians, iranese, arabs, All different identities, different identities, different religion, still the same continent. But in Africa, people focus so much on identity because they themselves have identity crisis. So Moroccan is African geographically, but doesn&apos;t share the same identity as the others which is normal, (even inside morocco you have dual identity) , you cannot have 1 billions people, diverse religions and ethnicities, and countries and expect them to have the same identity.<br>Secondly, the fact that morocco did quit the AU and did try to join the EU, has nothing to do with identity, it&apos;s a purely pragmatic and diplomatic move. The motive behind it was to attract more foreign investment. And, if you are being honest, if a leader had the possibility to join the EU in africa, he will do it in seconds. West africa already uses FCFA which is printed in france and is paired with the euro, so it&apos;s already an under currency of euro.<br>Also, all the african that come to morocco legally are not beaten. And not all black people that come to Morocco are good, kind, and have good intention, it&apos;s not mickey mouse world. That doesn&apos;t mean that racism and discrimination does not exist. But it does exist in your countries between people that have the same color, still we are not waisting our time lecturing you about it. And also what happens to a specific black man has not nothing to do with all the black in the world, if an arab is a drug dealer and get beaten, it his business not the whole arab community.
