  No one ever takes into account the sheer amount of projects and voices Seth has and always has had.  The fact any of his shows went longer than 5 years is impressive in itself, with how much he juggled.

  videos like these are family guy of video essays: just repeat the same thesis and provide new examples of the same instance for as long as possible because youtube rewards long form content

  The show died cause Seth MacFarlane wanted to move on to other projects. He depicted a metaphorical death when he had Brian die in the show. O.o

  The thing is, I don't recall Matt and Trey ever feeling this way about American Dad. They said they felt FG could be a good show and the writers had to work harder. American Dad doesn't have cutaways or the same junk food pun type comedy. Matt and Trey hated being compared to Family Guy. I don't think they would be as bothered by an American Dad comparison

The criticism is spot on, but you have to keep in mind that this is one of the most successful shows ever made criticizing another one of the most successful shows ever made.<br><br>Also, American Dad has been one of the best things on TV since season 2, and I&apos;ve never met anyone else that watches it.
