I’m an older woman who lived in a smaller home for 40 years. You cannot have more things than you have space. Your home will always be cluttered. No one needs all those water bottles. One for each family member. Same with all those things that can easily be washed and reused. You are buying things to organize the too many things you have. Cure the problem, don’t look for ways to fix it, when the fix is to minimize what you have. We raised a family and my house was never cluttered. When my kids were babies, they each had one plastic dish and set of utensils. Two sippy cups. Etc. I hand washed them. If your goal is to use the dishwasher, run it daily. Whether it is full or not. Because you will have to do that to have clean things. Or do some hand washing. <br><br>I have the feeling your entire house is like this. I’m telling you, the freedom you gain from having what you need, not what you think you need, is worth it. <br><br>After 40 years in our home, we moved to a house with fewer rooms but more square footage. Our bedroom closet is much larger than what we had. It’s half empty. We have what we need. I don’t fill the space because we have it. That seems to be very common with younger women today. Do yourself a favor and put every extra dollar towards savings. When you are my age you will be happy you did!
